What is the relationship between tourism and the locals of the city of Šibenik?
What remains of the tourists in the off-season - mid-November- in the town of Šibenik? The insider tip Croatia has become less and less secret over the past years. The town of Šibenik, which is located in the heart of Croatia, is just one example of the impact mass tourism has had over the years. Photographs show the town of Šibenik and a hotel complex as if they were two completely different worlds, although they are only a few meters apart. It is a critical examination of the dependence between tourism and its effects on the locals. The installation consists of photos of the city of Šibenik in the low season and information about Croatian tourism, which with the help of video mapping reveals the hidden behind the already contrasting images.
